I build software that
handles real money, reliably.

Hey, I'm Shivansh. I'm a backend developer who works mostly in Python, building REST APIs and payment systems that move real money. I spend a lot of time thinking about how things break at scale and making sure they don't. I'm Google and Oracle cloud certified, and currently looking for my next role.

Where I've worked

01

Software Developer at GXCO Tech Pvt. Ltd.

I build financial backend systems on the Frappe framework. Most of my work here involves getting money to move correctly and on time:

  • Built a multi-level expense approval pipeline that cut processing time by 40% and routes approved payments straight to banking systems.
  • Automated the full reimbursement cycle so vendors and employees get paid through bank APIs in real time.
  • Wrote a leave allocation algorithm that handles dynamic policy rules for 100+ employees with zero accrual errors.
  • Work directly with multi-tenant MariaDB instances, fix data inconsistencies through SQL migrations, and write custom financial reports.
  • Use Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude daily to review code and ship features faster.

Things I've built

01

Expense Splitting REST API

Think Splitwise, but as a backend project. You can create groups, split expenses multiple ways (equal, percentage, exact), and check balances in real time. I built it to handle concurrent writes without data races. Balance reads come from Redis so they're fast, and notifications go out through Celery so the API stays responsive.

02

AI-Driven Adaptive Cloud Resource Manager

A REST API that handles 500+ concurrent users and stays under 500ms response times. State lives in DynamoDB for fast reads. I set up CloudWatch dashboards to track throughput and latency per endpoint, with alarms that fire before SLAs break. The system predicts load and scales EC2 instances automatically, which cut idle costs by 18%.

03

Automated Continuous Delivery Pipeline

A full CI/CD pipeline that builds, tests, and deploys code across dev, staging, and production. SonarQube gates block any merge that drops test coverage. Everything runs in Docker so the "works on my machine" problem is gone. It sped up our release cycle by about 30%.

// about

A bit about me

I mostly work on the backend side of things. My day-to-day is Python, REST APIs, and financial systems like payment routing and approval workflows. I've gotten pretty comfortable thinking through how distributed systems fail and figuring out how to keep them running.

I like working across the full stack of backend concerns: databases, SQL migrations, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. I also use AI tools like Copilot and Claude every day because they genuinely help me move faster. I'm looking for a role where I can keep building things that actually matter.
